Balancia exists 5 years!

Last Sunday was exactly five years ago when Balancia was established. Balancia was registered as a consultancy in the field of traffic and transport on January 2nd 2006 at the Chamber of Commerce in Harderwijk. Later that year the company moved to Amsterdam and in 2008 turned into Balancia Netherlands BV, part of the same set Balancia Holding BV. Around that time, the company also had a new logo, a new website and the scope of the company was changed to "consultants in sustainable mobility".

Since the summer of 2010 we still focus on sustainability because we believe that the 21st century will become the century of sustainability! At the beginning of 2011 we will pour new ideas out. We will focus more on the calculation and prediction of CO2 emission (per inhabitant, employee, etc.) caused by passengers transport. Starting from July 1st, 2011 we will publish our own CO2 emissions on www.balancia.com. We will focus more on electric mobility and public transport projects in four focus countries (Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, India, Kenya) and we want to play a prominent role in public debate about the sustainability of the economy and herewith the role of walking, cycling and public transport.
