Tender Document Regiotaxi Holland Rijnland almost approved

The tender document of the new Regiotaxi system in Holland Rijnland will be placed on the agenda of the Advisory Committee Traffic and Transport meeting (in Dutch: portefeuillehoudersoverleg) which takes place on May 21, 2010. Regiotaxi Holland Rijnland will start to operate on January 1, 2011 in 12 of 15 municipalities in Holland Rijnland. One System for Holland Rijnland is chosen for a univocal regional transport system. If on May 21 the advisory committee agrees with the current version of the specifications, it can be expected that the Executive Committee of Holland Rijnland will definitively approve the tender document of Regiotaxi Holland Rijnland in June. The assessment protocol and the composition of the assessment committee will also be determined. Balancia has, in close cooperation with Holland Rijnland and the related municipalities, developed the tender document and the assessment protocol. Starting from July 2010, Balancia will also escort Holland Rijnland with the real Europe tender procedure of Regiotaxi Holland Rijnland.
